Updated: May 15, 2020

Have you ever wanted to learn how to make those delicious cookies that Double Tree Hotels gives you when you check into one of their hotels? Well....they finally released the recipe for cookie fans to bake at home! I found this recipe on the Hilton Hotels website. Hope you guys like it!
Ingredients (Makes 26 Cookies):
1/2 Pound of softened butter
3/4 cups + 1 tbs of sugar
3/4 packed light brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 1/4 tsp of vanilla extract
1/4 tsp of fresh lemon juice
2 1/4 cups of All-Purpose Flour
1/2 of rolled oats
1 tsp of baking soda
1 tsp salt
Pinch of cinnamon
2 2/3 cups of Nestle Tollhouse Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (I used dark Chocolate per my taste)
1 3/4 cups of chopped walnuts
Method:
Start out by creaming the butter, sugar, and brown sugar with a stand mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Slowly add in the eggs, vanilla, and lemon juice. Mix everything together on low speed. At this point, scrape down the sides of the bowl so everything is fully mixed.
With the mixer on low, add flour, oats, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon blending everything for about 45 seconds. Be sure to not over mix the dough or your cookies will be tough and crumbly.
Remove from the mixer and stir in your chocolate chips and walnuts. You can also try this recipe with pecans. Im a huge fan of pecans and sometimes will prefer them over walnuts.
Preheat your oven to 300 degrees. Portion out your dough to form small balls on a cookie sheet. Bake your cookies for 20-25 min until they are golden brown but the centers are still soft. Best served warm. Enjoy!
